1.     Introduction

Middlesbrough Seventh-day Adventist Church of the North England Conference runs the two Pre-Adventurers courses adopted from the North American Division. The courses cater for the ages below the Adventurers as follows:

Little Lambs – 4 (four) year olds

Eager Beavers – 5 (five) year olds

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19: 12 (New Revised Standard Version)

The Little Lamb and the Eager Beaver programme requirements were created to support these words of Jesus by assisting leaders and instructors to encourage the physical, mental, social and spiritual development of each child.
